Send a notice to parents
Who can send, who approves it, and why parents cannot reply.
A notice goes to parents’ phones rather than into a book bag. You choose who it reaches — the whole school, particular classes, or the parents of one group.
- 1Open Communications and write the notice.
- 2Choose who it goes to.
- 3Send it for approval. A headteacher or admin approves it, and can edit it before approving — the edit is recorded.
- 4Once approved it goes out.
Notices are one-way by design. Parents cannot reply into them, so your staff do not spend the evening working through an inbox nobody agreed to staff.
