Two screens show different numbers

What to check before assuming a bug.

Counts on different screens are asking slightly different questions, and the difference is usually real.

• The live roll counts who is on school grounds now. The register counts who arrived today — a student who went home early is in one and not the other.
• Children away on a trip are on the emergency roll but not at the gate.
• A gate phone that has been offline has not reported yet. Its scans appear when it syncs.

If the numbers still do not reconcile after allowing for those, tell us — that is worth looking at.
