Set up fees and bring in your balances
Fee items, who they apply to, and importing what you already have.
Fees are built from items — tuition, boarding, transport, a uniform — each with an amount and a rule for who it applies to. Applying an item charges every student it covers, in one action.
If you already keep balances in a spreadsheet, import them rather than re-entering them. Download the template from the fees screen, put your current outstanding figures in it, and upload.
Where to find itFees → Items, then ImportOpen it →Import your balances before you tell parents the app shows fees. A parent who opens it and sees zero when they owe money — or worse, a balance that is not theirs — is a phone call you do not want.
