Late, absent, and the arrival cut-off

How the cut-off decides late from absent, and where to set it.

Your arrival cut-off is the time after which an arrival counts as late rather than on time. It is yours to set. Most schools put it somewhere between 8:30 and 9:00.

A student who has not scanned in at all is shown as Absent on the day’s register, and their parents can see in the app that they have not been scanned in.

Set the cut-off before you go live. Left at the default it will mark ordinary arrivals late on your first morning.
