Registers and attendance
Take a register
Most of it is already filled in. You confirm who is in the class.
Open your class. Everyone who scanned in at the gate is already marked as Arrived, with the time. You are not filling in a blank sheet — you are confirming who is actually in front of you.
- 1Open the register for your class or lesson.
- 2Look at the students shown as Arrived. If one of them is not in the class, change them.
- 3Look at the students shown as Absent. If one is sitting there, mark them Arrived.
- 4Submit.
A student who arrived at the gate but is not in your class is the case worth catching. That is a child who is on school grounds but not where they should be, and it is the main thing a register is for once the gate is doing the counting.
