Take a class away from school

Planning a trip, scanning onto the bus, and staying on the emergency roll.

A trip is planned ahead: who is going, when the bus leaves, where it is going, when it is back, and who is leading it. Parents of the children going are told.

1Create the trip and add the students.
2On the day, scan each child onto the bus. The list on your phone shows who is still missing.
3Scan them off at the other end, and back on for the return.

Children on a trip stay on the school’s emergency roll for the whole time they are away — they are shown as away with the trip, not as absent, and not dropped from the count.
